GLOBAL WEIRDING (2017)
This project demonstrates an artistic representation of climate change and its subsidiary issues. The images were taken using a 35mm pinhole camera constructed from a recycled cereal box, the subject - nature. After shooting my film I chose to scan the negatives into the computer, in effect scanning the landscape for profit – my profit being a photograph. The act of scanning for a profit echo’s the actions of industries such as oil, coal, natural gas and palm oil.
